TL;DR. Use fire wave + tome + smoke battlestaff/staff of the dead for the best DPS levels 75-90. It's cheaper too. Trident of the swamp overtakes fire wave from level 90-95. Fire surge is strictly better from 95-99. Trident of the seas is very cost effective DPS, but only for levels ~90+.
